I know it’s been forever and eight days since I’ve updated, but I promise there’s some good stuff coming. I have been working on real-life stuff, shockingly enough, and hopefully I can get some good stuff up tonight.
In the next few days, you’ll probably see a few changes to the blog in the sidebar and the header, but nothing too major. Just some late spring cleaning going on.
What I want to know is content-wise, is there anything you’re just clamoring for that I’m not giving you? Tell me, my sweets, so I can get on it posthaste.
Sorry for the delay, dearest visitors – apologies all around.
Nothing that I can think of. :)
Yay Caitlin!
Danke, J.D. :D
Well well well…look who it is!
‘Bout time you came back! I’ll be anxiously awaiting new material.
I’ll be anxiously awaiting new material.
Yeah, now that you’re all TELECOMMUTING, YOU JERKFACE!
Yeah, now that you’re all TELECOMMUTING, YOU JERKFACE!
I have to keep myself entertained at home, y’know! So what’s next in the queue?
andrew, at home right now is:
Barefoot in the Park, Touchez Pas Au Grisbi and Empire Records.
After this is:
Street Fighter, Unforgiven, Lars and the Real Girl and Night of the Comet.
That’s quite a laundry list you have there. I feel your pain though…I have about 25 movies queued up on the tivo right now. I watch one or two a night and I still can’t keep up! So.many.movies….
It never ends, does it, andrew? I should’ve watched the millions I have at home, but I got suckered into buying National Treasure 2 and watched that last night, so hopefully I’ll have the review up tonight. :D
Yikes. National Treasure 2, huh? That should be a real treat…or possibly terrible. Most likely terrible.
Speaking of terrible Nick Cage movies, I finally watched Ghost Rider the other night. It was a little lame, but not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. I was ready a failure of “Wicker Man” proportions.
Andrew, it was pretty bad. I have advised the -Ookies accordingly. But you know that Nic Cage. I always come back begging for more. Have you seen the posters for his new movie? I can’t remember the full name, but it’s got Bangkok in the title, so I just call it, “Bangkok Blow Shit Up”.
Shockingly, I actually liked Ghost Rider, with the exception of Eva Mendes. A piece of driftwood would have been more effective than her. (And it’s got Donal Logue in it, who I love!) I have not seen the Wicker Man. However, I have seen the :30 second clip of Leelee Sobieski getting kicked in the neck on YouTube, and I think that might be the high point of the entire movie. :p
so I just call it, “Bangkok Blow Shit Up”.
Ha! I like it! I have not seen the posters yet, but I’ll be on the lookout.
A piece of driftwood would have been more effective than her.
Aw man! I kinda like Eva Mendes. Her self-depricating humor is refreshing to see from such a stereotypically (is that even a word?) hot actress. She was good in Stuck on You. Which, apparently, I’m the only person in the world who enjoyed. So my opinions may be flawed in general.
However, I have seen the :30 second clip of Leelee Sobieski getting kicked in the neck on YouTube, and I think that might be the high point of the entire movie.
Pretty much. Although your affinity for bad Nic Cage movies might overcome the shittiness of the whole thing.
Bangkok Dangerous, my friends. You know I’ll be first in line to see it.
Oh wait, no I won’t.
Thanks Fletch.
I’ll be right there with you….not in line.
andrew, here’s the poster: http://www.startv.com/blog/vipaccess/images/news/Bangkok_dangerous_2008_poster.jpg
I will never let go of the Bangkok Blow Shit Up thing in my mind. I know logically what it’s called now, but still.
Although your affinity for bad Nic Cage movies might overcome the shittiness of the whole thing.
I don’t know. Even I have my limits on Nic-Cage-badness. The Wicker Man is just…I’m not that masochistic.
Oh wait, no I won’t.
Fletch, I’m so sorry. I feel like I’m punishing you greatly every time I talk about Nic Cage. I know of your suffering with Cage, so.. I’m sorry. :(
I’ll be right there with you….not in line.
I’ll be there opening day, oh YEAH.
This is why no one pays me to review movies for a living.
